Bill Egert
|
Bill Egert makes his third jump to the big screen in The Death of Daniel Whately, playing Ian, the stuck-up, mod film rival of the title character. Born and raised in Utica, NY, Egert landed the role of Cousin Jay in Goodbye To You after an exhaustive search that left director David Dellecese unable to find anyone who he felt truly inhabited the role. He for the role with Tom Karpe, who would later take on the role of Jay's roomate, Nick. The on-screen combination of Egert and Karpe clicked immediately and the rest is history. Fun lovin' Bill returned in 2002 to take on the smaller supporting role of Sean Haim, comic book inker in the road comedy, Detour. The character was actually given the last name "Haim", as a tribute to one of Bill's favorite actors, Corey Haim. He currently attends RIT, (The Rochestor Institute of Technology), where he is earning his degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. His favorite films include Requiem for a Dream, Hudson Hawk, and Leon the Professional. |
