Jon Saulmon
|
Jon Saulmon's film credits continue to grow steadily since his 2001 debut in Goodbye To You as Mike DeCarlo. In 2002 he played Eric Walker, the down on his luck comic book artist who led a motley crew of strangers through the open road in Detour. In 2004's The Death of Daniel Whately, Jon played Detective Jack Moore, the young investigator who was more dedicated to his work than his wife. In 2006's Anchor Eddy's Jon shows off his villainous side as the rich and spoiled Chester Greenfield III. He has also made appearences in three short films from Trevor Byrne and Todd Detmold's "Pelican/MangoProductions". Saulmon is a graduate of the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter High School in Hadley, MA, where he received the majority of his training in stage acting. There, he met some of the greatest teachers in the world, and he thanks every one of them. While at PVPA, he had major roles in You Can't Take It With You, Much Ado About Nothing, Anything Goes, As You Like It, Cabaret, and others. Jon participated in the brand new Pioneer Valley Summer Theater's first and second seasons. Performing in Noah Smith's adaptation of the Bremen Town Musicians under the direction of David Nields, Jon was a singing, dancing, cynical pirate. Jon is also one of several CYB regulars that provided voices for the characters in the Microsoft video game Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries as Lancemate Scooter. He is very grateful for all the fantastic opportunities that have come his way, not the least of which has been the opportunity to work on several occasions with such a brilliant, understanding director as Dave Dellecese (his words). Jon currently resides in Astoria, NY. |
