Michael Zarnock










Michael S. Zarnock was born April 21, 1958 in Utica, New York, into a working class family. Some of Michael’s accomplishments over the years include racing Moto Cross as a teenager to building and driving many Show and Drag Cars as an adult. Some of those Drag Cars ended up being Street Racers for other people. Michael has many stories’ about those Street Racing days that he says he would like to put in a book, including the time he got kidnapped. His love of Hot Wheels cars since his childhood has lead him to become one of the country's leading authorities on the collectibles.

He is the author of the best selling book, The Ultimate Guide to Hot Wheels Variations. Michael currently writes a monthly Hot Wheels Variation Guide for "Toy Cars & Models" magazine, does free lance writing such as the chapters he has done for other Die-Cast books including The Standard Catalog of Die-Cast Vehicles and Warmans' Hot Wheels Field Guide. He also makes appearances at Schools, Conventions, Toy Shows and Hot Wheels Club functions.

He made his screen debut playing Artie, the sleazy comic publisher in Detour, and returned to CYB Productions to play talk show host extraordinaire, Freddy Grecko, in The Death of Daniel Whately.
